Install the desktop Chrome extension, connect it once, and pin it beside your address bar.
Download and add the extension.
Download the ZIP and extract it. In Chrome, open the address below, turn on Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.

Extension details & privacyConnect it to your CaptureMem account.
Open Connection credentials in Settings. Name this device Chrome on my laptop, choose Capture only under Access, and select Create.
Open Settings & connectionsCopy the credential when it appears, then use the setup link in Settings to return to this guide. Your credential is shown only once.
Open the extension’s Connection settings. Paste the site address below into CaptureMem address and your credential into Capture token. Choose Save connection and allow access to CaptureMem.
Pin it. Save a page.
Open Chrome’s Extensions menu and pin CaptureMem — Save to Library. On a webpage, click its icon and choose Save to Library.
Prefer the keyboard? Use ⌘ Shift S on Mac or Ctrl Shift S on Windows.
Look for “Saved to CaptureMem.”Then open your library to see the link. Its summary and organization arrive afterward. “Already saved” means it is already in your library.

The keyboard shortcut does something else.
Open the address below and assign an unused shortcut to CaptureMem’s save action.
A save failed or the icon shows a red exclamation mark.
Open the extension and select Retry last failed save. If its credential was revoked, create a new Capture only credential in Settings and replace it in the extension’s Connection settings.
Can I install this in Chrome on my phone?
Chrome extensions are for desktop. On iPhone or iPad, use the Apple Shortcut guide. On Android, paste the URL into Save a link in your CaptureMem library.
