Keep a find from your Mac.
The Apple Shortcut works in apps that share a URL or text. For a dedicated Chrome button, use the extension.
Create a credential for your Mac.
Open Connection credentials in Settings. Name this device Mac Shortcut, choose Capture only under Access, and select Create.
Open Settings & connectionsCopy the credential when it appears, then use the setup link in Settings to return to this guide. Your credential is shown only once.
Add the Shortcut and its connection.
Download and open Save to Library in the Mac Shortcuts app. Add it, enter the capture address, and paste your credential. If import questions are skipped, edit the first two Text actions below the opening comment: address first, credential second.
Download Save to LibraryEnable sharing, then try it.
Open the Shortcut’s Details and enable Show in Share Sheet. For the Services menu, enable Use as Quick Action and Services Menu.
In an app that shares links, choose Share → Shortcuts → Save to Library → Done. Allow the connection when prompted.
Look for “Saved to CaptureMem.”Then open your library to see the link. Its summary and organization arrive afterward. “Already saved” means it is already in your library.
Check your library
My app does not offer this Shortcut.
In the Share menu, choose Edit Extensions and enable Shortcuts. Share and Services options also depend on the app and selected content. In desktop Chrome, the extension provides a direct save button.

Apple Shortcuts may sync it to your Mac through iCloud. If you use the synced copy, it also carries the credential inside it. Create a separate Mac credential if you want to revoke each device independently.
